The Bloomsbury group was a circle of modernist writers, artists, and intellectuals in London who were friends, close associates, and influences on each others' work. Its members included Virginia and Leonard Woolf, Vanessa and Clive Bell, E.M. Forster, Duncan Grant, Lytton Strachey, Adrian and Karin Stephens, Roger Fry, and John Maynard Keynes.
