A society founded in 1907 to promote eugenics. It has gone through several name changes: the Eugenics Education Society, the Eugenics Society, and now the Galton Institute. Its members included John Maynard Keynes, Julian Huxley (who served as Vice President and President), Havelock Ellis, Ronald Fisher, Naomi Mitchison, Marie Stopes, Karl Pearson, W.B.
